Toronto based artist Sven Lochenhoer has spent the last decade carving a distinct path through the dance music landscape. His signature sound has made him a fixture on dancefloors all around the world earning him the respect of industry titans like Chris Lake, Disco Lines, A-Craze, Chris Lorenzo, Nicole Moudaber, Cloonee, Alok, Joseph Capriati, Walker & Royce, Odd Mob.

 

Building on his unique sonic identity, he has delivered unforgettable performances, bringing his infectious ear-worm DJ sets to a vast array of cities and festivals from coast to coast. Sven's early career saw him establish a strong presence within the Dirtybird Records community, contributing his first productions to various compilations and EPs on the label. This foundation paved the way for further success, as evidenced by his 2019 release “Black Friday” on Dumb Fat Records, which became a cult classic and was played in the highly anticipated debut performance of Chris Lake & Chris Lorenzo’s Anti Up.

 

2024 marked a significant turning point for Sven with multiple high profile releases including the “That’s The Spot EP” a collaboration with OMNOM on Australian tastemaker label Sweat It Out Records. The release debuted at #10 on Beatport and continues to see tremendous support from heavy hitters around the  globe. Adding to this success, he also released “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” on Walker & Royce’s Rules Don’t Apply gaining massive radio play on BBC Radio 1, Ministry of Sound, Diplo’s Revolution.
